Accessibility Measurement Guidance

Accessibility is the ease with which people can reach desired destinations. Funded by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) in the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine (TRB NASEM), the project team  will create guidance for state departments of transportation, regional planning agencies, transit authorities, and others seeking to add or strengthen measures of accessibility in transportation planning and evaluation processes. The guidance is based on a review of academic literature, agency practice, and interviews with transportation professionals.

This project is being led by UT-Austin with support from SSR.
